Hi, we're Zoe and Tyson.

LOFT began with a simple idea. We wanted to create the kind of places we would love to stay ourselves. Beautifully designed homes that feel luxurious, welcoming and connected to everything we love about Port Stephens.

LOFT stands for *Luxurious Overnights For Travellers*, and it all started with our very first property, LOFT Corlette. Today, LOFT is home to two thoughtfully designed stays in Corlette and Shoal Bay, and we now live at LOFT Corlette with our young family while we decide our next adventure.

 

Design has always been at the heart of what we do. As the Creative Director of Your Home Designs, I spend my days designing homes that are functional, timeless and full of character. Every LOFT has been carefully considered, from the layout and finishes through to the styling and guest experience. If you've been in touch with LOFT, there's a good chance we've already spoken.

Tyson is the builder who brings every vision to life. With more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry through Nel Constructions, he has an incredible eye for detail and takes pride in delivering every renovation to the highest standard. Together, we love taking homes with potential and transforming them into places people genuinely enjoy staying.

LOFT Shoal Bay is probably our proudest project yet. When we purchased the property in early 2024, it was a tired little beach cottage that needed plenty of imagination. Just seven months later, after a complete renovation and while welcoming our daughter Quincy into the world, we opened the doors to our very first guests. We feel incredibly lucky to call Port Stephens home and even luckier to share it with others.​

"We are a young family who has lived in the area for over 15 years, my partner Tyson grew up in a small cottage home similar to our Loft Shoal Bay. We have been looking to buy in Shoal Bay for years and have finally found the perfect place to extend our love to the area and share the experiences we hold so dearly to our hearts. We hope everyone's stay is memorable, and we would love nothing more than to welcome our guests back again".
